After two victories in a row and two clean sheets we were going to the field against a team with three victories in a row. We didn't have one of our central defenders and we needed to make a few changes in the team to get the formation balanced. 

In the first half we started the game very carefully just to adapt to the new positions and players. We knew that Grythyttan is building a lot around the central forward Chris Vorenkamp so we had specific instructions to control him. The guys did a great defensive job and we managed to control the game after just 15-20 minutes. When we got comfortable we started to create chances, most of them was played well until we reached the box. In the 35 minute Diego advanced in the center of the penalty area and could find David in a good position who could easily score the first goal of the game. During the first half we could have scored at least one more goal but were unable to do that. 

Second half started with a hungry Grythyttan and they pushed for 15 minutes before they realized that it would take a miracle to break through our defense in this game. We took over again and the Pars attacks started to get more and more serious. After some good chances finally Nico managed to get a great shot that founded it's way to the net and now Pars had a much more comfortable lead. 15 minutes from time Oki got an eye injury after a tackle and was not able to continuo the game, Barre took his place in the central back. During the last minutes Diego managed to make a good pass to Sebastian who just screened away the defenders to let the ball go all the way into goal. 

Overall it was mostly about finding our positions and get comfortable with changes we were forced to do for this game, we had patience and managed to play an okay game due the circumstances.

First half started out with two careful teams taking it easy. Sturehovs best chance came after we lost the ball in the defense but Harri could clear the ball with a great tackle. We had a few good combinations on the wings and were using our wing backs well. Diego was in the mood and had few good combinations and good dribbles as well. David hade one great chance after getting the ball from Diego but the keeper was able to save that shot. Diego also had a few good chances but we needed to wait until the 40th minute to score when SJ played a chip ball to Sebbe who could score easily after an one against one situation with the keeper. Overall we played careful but we didn't hesitate to participate with many players in attack. 

In the beginning of the second half we looked a little bit stressed and Sturehov could pressure us but during the pressure they managed to have only one good shot that Ian saved. After 15 minutes in the second half we took over. David had two great shots hitting the post and after a while the frustration got bigger in both teams, Sturehov not being able to creat anything dangerous and we missing our chances. The game became a sliding tackle show instead with lots of yellow cards and also two red cards. In the last minutes of the game David found Diego unmarked 1 meter from goal and Diego could finish his good game with a goal. 

Overall it was a okay game, it was nice to win and we had some good combinations and the defense played well. Our attackers, Ghaith, David and Sebbe did well in first half creating chances and participating in the defensive play.

Second half we started a little bit better and could create a few chances to score but it was Latorp who still got the best chances and could score their fourth goal. After that Ashten had a great chance after a good pass from Ghaith but he didn't find the target this time. The game ended 2-4 after a bad game from our side. A reality check for Pars FC in this game, we have a lot of things to work on. Now it's time to get order in the team and finish the last games better before the summer break. 

The second half started good for Pars again with many attacks. During all the attacks Harri lost the ball in the defense and Vretstorp could easily score their second goal. And then the hell just continued, we got a penalty against us and then 5 minutes after that David got sent off after a misunderstanding. We continued to create after that but couldn't score and the game ended with 0-3 on our homefield. 

A strange game, after the good performance against Nora we got this set back, only one to blame are ourselves. Vretstorp played smart and with experience. Our team has a lot to work on to get more balanced performance and not so much ups and downs.  

In second half we made changes to strengthen the central midfield and it worked perfectly. Now we could have control all over the field and HOIF wasn't able to create any good chances. We on the other hand could use counter attacks to score two more goals, both scored by the leagues top scorer David. The first was a rebound on SJs shot from distance and the second after being served by Nico with a great shot near the post. Overall a great game for our two central defenders Samuel Oki and the general Jonny Da Silva, also Sebbe worked a lot on the right wing where they had their best player.

In second half we started good but it didn't take long before we dropped more and more, maybe because of some tired legs. IFK took over and could create some chances. Our defensive line played well but the rest of the team didn't perform so well in the defensive play. After 20 minutes in second half a player in IFK took the ball with his hand in the box but the referee didn't call it, just few minutes after that David was dragged down in the box but no call there either. Diego had a good opportunity to score from outside the box but it got wide. After that it was only IFK who tried to get the winner, a few good chances on set pieces that we managed to block and 10 minutes from time a great shot that Ian made a amazing save on to prevent us from a defeat.

We started the game with a great energy and could easily create 3 good chances to prove that it would be a hard game for Öfvre today. They started to build attacks but we cut of everything and the frustration rised for them. After a few more attacks SJ got the ball in the middle and could find David with delicate pass over the defender and David made no mistakes and could score with his right foot. Couple of minutes later Rayner got the ball in the penalty area but was fouled on so David could score his 2nd goal from the spot. Overall in first half we controlled the game and forced Öfvre to play as we wished. Unfortunately we missed a lot of good opportunities and still made to many long passes. Öfvre had some chances on set pieces but today Kjellander was a wall, nothing would get pass him. 

Second half started with us taking control once again and Öfvre almost going on their reserve energy. We did no mistakes and continued to pressure them and we could win the ball high up in the field and create chances. Öfvres patience was over now and they just started to kick down our players, we used that by putting in fast and technical players and forced them to make more fouls, the yellow cards were given out like candy on a birthday party and the chances kept coming. After 15 minutes in second half Rayner received the ball on the left side up front and could manage to find a unmarked David. We kept pushing and Öfvre players gave more and more fouls until one of their players got sent off and they totally gave up, we didn't focus on that and kept playing our game and we could once again score when Barre had a good run up and could score a goal after getting a great ball from Diego. 

The defense today played great, with Jonny as the Sergeant of the defensive line and Kjellendar behind the defenders like a rock it was a hard game for the opponents, they couldn't even get close before we cut their attacks.

David Gustafsson - David is one of the leagues best forwards in creating chances by good positioning. He created many good chances from the begging to the end of the game. With three goals today he made his way to a mustache. 

Friday night the league started for us and the first game was against one of the favorites for winning the league. Before the game we talked a lot about how to play and everything we had worked for this pre-season. After 4 months of preparing it was time to show what we got. That didn't happen in this game, instead we showed a disappointing performance, we didn't do what we supposed to do and it looked like everyone had forgot the tactics. After just 2 minutes after a bad clearance from our defender the ball hit the opponents central midfield and went to another player in their team who could easily find their left wing after another of our defenders misjudged the situation. The player got a one against one situation with our keeper and could easily score. The disaster didn't stop there, we couldn't even clear the ball properly in the first 30 minutes, nothing really worked, not the passes not the receives, not the runs. IK Sturehov on the other hand played smart, easy passes and 1-2 touches every time, increased the pace of the game whenever they wanted. In the last 15 minutes we took over more and more but instead of building an attack that we had worked on and follow instructions we only tried to put the ball in the box.

Second half started with us taking over completely and starting to create chances, good chances that we missed. Soon we fell in to Sturehovs trap where they wanted us to just put in long passes in the box where their players are strong in the air. Our central midfield today couldn't manage anything good after spending most of the time looking at the ball going from our defenders to the opponents defender and back.

A great artificial field, good whether and good preparation, but the result ended badly. No excuses, just coming back from this and doing better. A well deserved defeat after the tactically horrible game we saw. The disappointment is not about the result, it's about our player not following the instructions in such a important game. No mustaches will be given for this game.

At 14.20 CET Friday the coaches car left from Örebro to the little village Vimmerby for the training camp. One hour later the rest of the team started their trip. The first car arrived at 17.00 and prepared for the game. The opponent for the day was a youth them from Vimmerbys second division team. We started the game great after David taking the ball from a defender and easily scored the first goal. But after that we underestimated our opponents and stop playing well. We made many bad chosen and was unable to play our own game. In the last 15 minutes of the first half we managed to change our attitude and improve. SJ got the ball in the middle and managed to get by three players before he found an unmarked David in the penalty area who could easily score once again. Just a few minutes later David completed his hattrick by a long range shot that found the top of the net. Second half started much better and we got complete control of the game. We still created chances and didn't give away the ball. Gustav received the ball at the left wing and could find David with a smart pass behind the defenders so David could score his 4th goal. With a four goal lead and no need to risk anything we played easy and safely the rest of the game, giving no space to the opponents to achieve anything. 

 

Saturday started with breakfast at 10.00 and practice at 12.00 where we focused on corner kicks and attack. Also time for our goalkeeper to work with situations that we normally don't practice so much. Lunch was served at 14.00 and all the guys got time afterwards to see the city and for resting. At 17.30 the second practice of the day started and this time we worked on free kicks and then divided the group where the forwards worked on finishing and defenders and midfielders worked on passings. We finished the practice with penalty shoot out. After the practice it was time for dinner and team meeting where we set our goals for the season and shared our thought. After the meeting it was time for some team bonding and a little bit party with caution. 

 

Sunday morning most of the players where tired and the coach with a swollen knee and the assistant coach with a swollen shoulder. One car with 4 injured players went home and the rest had the last practice after the breakfast. We started easy with some football tennis. And after that worked on our defenders tactical ways to build an attack. We then played a few minutes and finished the practice with another penalty shoot out. After the practices it was time to go back to Örebro. A great weekend with the team, all the guys were satisfied and it was great chance for us not only to practice more but also to build up even stronger team spirit.  

 

Important game today against one of the teams in our league. We were able to play with a strong team today and with good confidence. We start the game well, the defense had a good performance against Assyriskas technical players and we managed to deny them chances to score. Meanwhile on the other end we created more and more chances.  After 20 minutes Jonny could with a great long pass find his little brother Chrisy who managed in a weird way score the first goal of the game. After that goal we got more confidence and could control the game even more. Second goal came after Chrisy unselfishly passed the ball to Tarek when both players were free with the keeper. Tarek could shortly after that score another goal after a good pass from Sebbe. In the last 15 minutes of the first half it seemed that Assyriska were tired and we also lost or motivation. 

 

Second half started better from both sides and Assyriska really wanted to get back a goal but was denied from our solid defense, but instead it was Pars who scored another goal also this time by Tarek after a good run and pass from Barre to make the gap even more. Overall the second half was a tactically not good enough were neither team had the stamina or the will to keep up the speed and we mostly saw counter attacks with bad finish from both sides. 

 

This was the second game in row that we managed to win and hold clean sheet. The form is pointing in right direction and we are getting ready for the league. Hopefully injuries won't hold us back when the league starts. Tomorrow we will also play a game for players who didn't get enough playing time today and also new players.

Today was a good opportunity to try some new players combined with old players. Unfortunately we had two players who dropped out yesterday but we managed to have 15 players for the game anyway. In the beginning ÖSK was controlling the game and we weren't able to give the right support when we set pressure and the communication wasn't good enough. After a while we could control the game and started to create a few chances but we wasn't able to score. ÖSK had only one opportunity and couldn't either score on that. The first half summery was kind of weak game from both sides with many tired legs and bad positioning. 

 

The second half we could control the game from the beginning and also create more chance. After just 10 minutes in first half we managed to get a penalty kick in our favor but unfortunately for us the keeper saved it. We kept on creating more chances with better movement and fresh players. 20 minutes in to second half Nihat found Ghaith in the left side of the penalty area and Ghaith could find an unmarked Reza with a splendid pass and Reza didn't make any mistake so we could take the lead. After that we drag down the speed a little bit and ÖSK tried with longer passes to our box that we easily could remove. We had some counter attacks that's was wrongly called off for offside but in the end we locked the game and didn't let the opponents get any serious chances. The few times ÖSK tried to get the ball inside of the box we had Jonny and Andreas who could easily win the ball.

After Laxå contacted us one day before the friendly against them and told us they couldn’t play we were forced to find a new opponent. Luckily IFK Kumlas opponents couldn’t either play so we played against the strong division 3 opponents IFK Kumla. Before the game we had a long tactical session with the players about our defensive play and how to focus just on our play both in defense and attack. Our guys were a little bit stressed in the first 10 minutes but very quickly the start to believe in themselves and beside good defense we started to create good chances. Jonny had a great header on a free kick from Wik, but the goalkeeper could keep the net from moving with a tremendous save. A few minutes later Harri had a great chance with a header but he missed the target. But the best chance came after a good run on the left wing and Ghaith who received the ball unmarked just 6-7 meters from goal but he aimed badly and hit the post. Without being biased we can say that Pars FC was the better team in first half and Kumla had only one chance in first half. In the break we talked a lot about how we should play in second half and most of the guys were happy with the performance in first half.

 

Second half didn’t start as we wished it would, Kumla increased their pressure and with good individual skills they were able to create more chances, we got tired by chasing the ball and also lost the structure in the defense. Kumla were lucky when they scored the first goal from distance, but to be fair before the goal they had some good chances that they couldn’t score on. Shortly after that they doubled their lead by a great bicycle kick and just 3 minutes after that the third goal came. Our team was in a chock that moment and couldn’t find a good way to control the game, only thing we were able to do was to send in the substitutes with good energy to stabile the game. In the end after a few good chances from both sides plus two shots on the post from Kumla the final result was 4-0 for IFK Kumla. Overall what we can say is that Pars played their best game today from all the pre-season games and although the defeat is hard to accept after many good chances that we had we can without doubt say that we are going in the right direction.

Pars started the game quite well with good passes and good movement and also created 2 good chances but the keeper in Öfvre managed to keep the net from moving. First attack that Öfvre had in the game resulted in a goal when the left wing could easily find an unmarked forward in the penalty area, but Pars kept on playing good after the goal. Unfortunately when we was supposed to start a attack our player slipped and Öfvre-player could easily make it 0-2 in a empty net. We continued the good game despite receiving two goals and Chrisy find SJ with a good cross in the penalty area, SJ could with great header find David in the front of the goal and we reduced the gap to only one goal. Shortly after that David received a great ball from Jonas and could manage to get by two defenders before he was dragged down in the penalty area, David himself took the penalty and could equalize the game. All this happened in the first 30 minutes, it was the best performance from us this pre-season until now. Unfortunately Öfvre managed to score just two minutes after that, but our guys didn’t give up, despite an emotional display in the last 10 minutes of the first half we created a few chances and Sebbe could with a great left-foot strike from 20 meters equalize the game once again.

 

Second half was mostly a game were both teams seemed to be tired and showed a lot of emotions, the tactical play wasn’t something we could observe so much. 20 minutes from time Chrisy could take the ball after Öfvres keeper loosing it and Chrisy didn’t make any mistakes and scored the leading goal for Pars. Öfvre pushed a lot in the last 10 minutes and could equalize the game on a free-kick. We also tried to attack and created a few good chances but were unable to score. Jonny got sent off after his second yellow card but we were allowed to play with 11 players anyway because it was a friendly. In the last minutes of the game Öfvre managed to score the winning goals and get credit for their good play this evening. We could see signs of tired player in both teams and that’s something we really need to work on because it’s not acceptable to loss a 4-3 lead in the last 10 minutes. After the game Öfvre coach also said that the game had too much errors and both teams will need to work a lot harder if they want have a successful season this year.

Today we started with 5 new signed players for the game against Delta IF. We have played Delta IF last year and played 3-3 against them so today we wanted to improve the previous result but most of the focus was on how we will play in attack and also the tactical defending play.

 

We started the game good, the positions in attack were also good, the corners made problem for the opponents and we had some creative passes that opened up the opponents’ defense. After a few half chances that we didn’t score we were able to win the ball on our own field by Franky that founded SJ in the middle who could easily find David with a great pass, and David made no mistakes and Pars could take the lead. 10 minutes after that David had another chance when he got past the defense and also the keeper but was dragged down in the penalty area but unfortunately the referee was too far from the scene. In the second part of the first half the game got more equal and when we had a corner that we couldn’t use Delta got a chance on a counter attack where our defenders weren’t able to get in to position and two attacker where left alone with one of our defenders and they could easily equalize the game. Just a few minutes from break Sebbe got a great run on the right wing and was able to find David with a tremendous pass so David could easily find the back off the net to give Pars the lead once again in the game.

 

Second half started better for Delta, we made 4 changes so new players could get time to show themselves but it made it hard and a lot of stress came in to the group. Delta started to push and could after 20 min in second half equalize the game when Pars defenders weren’t able to get away the ball in our own penalty area. Delta kept on pushing for the winning goal and was able to score their 3^rd goal after passive defending from our side. With Sebbe back in the game we could manage to press Delta more and more and could after a foul on David get a penalty kick that was scored by the foul getter himself. Five minutes from time David was able to complete his good game with a great pass to Sebbe who could with a clinical finish find the back of the net after he managed to conquer Deltas offside trap. We can also add that Pars got two goals unfairly disallowed and also a player in Delta was sent off but we gave them the chance to play with 11 players anyway just because this was a friendly.

Erik Ekberg – with almost no errors in the defensive play he made a great job and could easily get the ball almost every time from the technical Delta players. And he was also calm with the ball and didn’t lose the ball.
